Agent Orange/Sprayed and Betrayed

Agent orange was a powerful mixture of chemical defoliants used by the U.S. military forces during the Vietnam war to eliminate jungle foliage that gave cover and concealment for the North Vietnamese and Viet Cong troops, as well as crops that might be used to feed them. The U.S. program of defoliantion codenamed operation ranch hand sprayed more than 19 Million gallons of herbicides over 4.5 million acres of land in Vietnam from 1961 to1972.

Agent Orange, which contains the chemical dioxin was the most commonly used in the herbicide mixtures and the most effective. It was later revealed to cause serious health issues including tumors, birth defects, rashes, psychological symptoms and cancer among returning U.S. servicemen and their families.

   The Government Gift That

                 Keeps on  Killing !

He went to help the Vietnamese be free; but in his mind, he will never be.
Agent orange was sprayed in that faraway land, and it put a Marine in the good Lord's hand.

Walking through the jungle soaking wet; with snakes and insects crawling all around and yet.

He answered the call and served his country well, and what he went through, he would never tell.

He could never forget where he's been, the place the sweat and the blood of his brothers was spent.

He never came home; his dreams was there to stay. Still carrying that chemical inside with dismay, until the Angels came and took him away.

They took his soul; now he's free he remembers no more, now of that Viet Nam War.

Our Government Lied,While Good Men Died !
